The Derivan Experience – Factory Tour

Meet the people that make your paint!

Embark on an in depth journey to discover first hand why Derivan paints are the best in the world.

Spend some time at Derivan’s Sydney factory, guided through the history of artist paint in Australia and the rigorous testing the best Acrylic must go through. 

Join our expert colormakers, finalising some of the gorgeous Matisse Structure range and help to make a small batch of paint from beginning to end (and take a free sample of the paint you helped make home).

All visitors will discover the basics of colour making and participate in testing several finished products, in a hands on class of colour theory. 

An exceptional experience for any Australian Artist. 

What to expect:

A guided tour of the Sydney factory

A short, expert run class in the history and theory of artist paints

In depth instructional course on how we test our products

Participation in making one of our paints

What you get at the end:

75ml Tube of paint you helped to make

6 x 75ml Matisse tubes of paint

Complimentary apron

Also: Several testing sheets that will be completed during the class (If these are still wet we can send these to you at a later date)
