Derivan Gesso is a superb primer for materials like canvas, board, or paper. Its firm white base offers an excellent tooth, promoting easy manipulation of paint.
Derivan Gesso can be diluted with water as a water-based product. When applied to a canvas, it tightens the material upon drying, providing a firm surface to paint on.
Derivan Gesso can also be applied over previous acrylic works, affording artists a fresh-like surface to create on. If you prefer multiple coats, it's recommended to sand in between applications to ensure a smooth finish lightly.
Available in 250ml, 500ml, 2 Litre, and 4 Litre sizes.
