YOU WILL NEED:
- A4 Sheet of Paper ( Derivan A4 Drawing pad )
- Ruler
- Derivan Watercolours : Ultra Blue, Lemon Yellow, Phthalo Green and Crimson
- Derivan Kindy Glitz: Red, Orange, Lime and Blue
- Scissors

STEP ONE
This project is a great way to get kids interested in geometry and worksheets. All you need to do is cut out a small square from a sheet of a4 paper. Make sure the paper's dimensions are 21 cm per side. Then use a ruler to measure 21cm on either side and cut it out!
STEP TWO
The first step is to fold a square sheet of paper in half and then fold it again. This will divide the paper into four sections. Once you have done this, open up the paper again. You should now have creases that divide your paper into quarters.
STEP THREE
you can now fold the top corners to the middle. Fold the bottom corners up onto the top. Now fold one of the top corners down onto the bottom flap, and do this for all four corners.
STEP FOUR
Flip the sheet and repeat the above step by folding the top corners to the middle and do this for all four corners.
STEP FIVE
Flip again to expose the bottom of the chatterbox, you have now completed your origami fortune teller it is now time for the best part of the activity: decorating. You can use Derivan Watercolours or Derivan Kindy Glitz to decorate your fortune teller
STEP SIX
Lightly mark the outside of one of the tabs of the chatterbox with a pencil then open up and lay flat.
STEP SEVEN
Using Derivan Watercolour paint each quarter a different colour start with red Then work around the square painting the next quarter Yellow, then blue and green. Leave to dry.
STEP EIGHT
Once Dry, flip over and fold the top corners back to the middle. Fold the bottom corners up onto the top. Now fold one of the top corners down onto the bottom flap, and do this for all four corners.
STEP NINE
Simply take your marker pen and write from 1 to 8 around the edges. You should see smaller triangles crease marks that will serve as a guide to help you place the numbers.
STEP TEN
Flip over and fold in numbers to the middle of the square once and then open only one of the numbers and add an creative activity in side. Continue around the Chatterbox, opening each number and adding a simple activity.
STEP ELEVEN
Open up fully and lay flat and decorate the outer point boxes with kindy glitz. Here with have used the red to go onto the red painted area, orange onto the yellow and etc. Wait till fully dry.
STEP TWELVE
Use steps 1 to 5 to fold the chatterbox back into place. Then let the games begin!
